On September 21st Clutch Pro Tour hosted The South of England Open at Worplesdon GC, sponsored by Bedford insurance.

This event was the biggest development pro tournament in the UK in 2020 with over 110 male and female golfers competing for the £10,000 1st prize and invite into The Italian Challenge.

The event was hosted at Woplesdon GC which is recognised as one of the best courses in England.

The tournament was won by left handed Bailey Gill with a fantastic score of – 7, closely followed in second place by Sam De’Ath on -6

Leading amateur was 17 year old Shergo Al Kurdi from Jordan.

The tour along with Bedford Insurance have been offering a competitive life line in 2020 to the professionals on the UK whose regular seasons had been disrupted as a result of COVID-19.
